@jenseisert I get the point! By chance I have recently studied your old masterpieces about Gaussification protocols to see whether pre-Gaussification may enhance teleportation fidelity of non-Gaussian CV states when using Gaussian resources (TMS states) 😉
@qmisanz Actually, the channel is Gaussian-preserving, it is non-interacting quantum dynamics. But the state is non-Gaussian, having a memory of past interactions.
@jenseisert So this means that the fixed point of the dynamics is in general Gaussian even when the channel is not Gaussian-preserving. Is not a necessary condition the injectivity of the dynamical channel?
In 2008 I first stared at proof techniques that show that quantum many-body systems would tend to relax following #nonequilibrium dynamics and would "Gaussify" in time. Even though the precise mechanism here is somewhat different, to see this is pleasing.
