Quantum Computation

Quantum computation is achieved by encoding, processing and decoding of information with a quantum device. There are several approaches for quantum computation, for instance in adiabatic quantum computing, the solution to the computational problem is encoded in the ground state of a problem Hamiltonian that is adiabatically reached from a simple initial one. Another route comes from digital quantum computing, where the quantum algorithm is encoded in a discrete universal set of gates.


In QUTIS, we study:

– Different approaches for quantum simulations.
– Combination of different techniques as a digitized adiabatic quantum computation.
– Study ultrafast quantum gates.
